Experience at Spin Master:
Spin Master is a Fortune 500 global children's entertainment company that creates exceptional play experiences through Toys, Entertainment, and Digital Games. The company is well known for brands such as Paw Patrol, Bakugan, and the licensed brand Wizarding World of Harry Potter. In the summer after my junior year of college, I had the opportunity to work with the Wizarding World (WWO) Brand Managers as a Marketing Intern at the LA office. Throughout my time at Spin, I conducted competitive research using NPD data and trend observations and presented it to the Wizarding World cross-functional teams in weekly team meetings, design meetings, and line-planning meetings. My research was also used for Dolls & Interactive (Girls Portfolio) product line-planning meetings with the executive board. I also created a PowerPoint Presentation for Sales Summit in Toronto that told a story to the audience and effectively laid out WIzarding World's plan for Fall 2023. At Spin, I also worked on TV Commercials and How-To Videos shown below.
Ginny & Hermione How-To Video
I worked "on set" through Zoom & gave my input to the production team on visuals and how the talent should interact with the toys.
I assisted in choosing talent and pushed for more diverse actors, and this suggestion was followed through.
I chose the wardrobe for the talent & assisted in designing the set.
Wizarding World TV Commercial
When the production team sent the TVC to us, I met with one of the WWO Brand Managers and the Director of Marketing to watch the TVC thoroughly and determine edits.
I gave my input on edits such as making sure the voiceover was aligned with the right part of the video and slowing down the statement at the end.
Diagon Alley How-To Video
I assisted one of the Wizarding World Brand Managers in ensuring that the script flowed well and the directions were easy to follow
I simplified language to make it easier to follow and also edited parts that seemed choppy.
Personal Highlights
I created a TikTok video showcasing a playlist I made and it received over 160,000 views. I linked the playlist in my bio and it gained over 12,000 likes on Spotify.
Artists with thousands of followers message me through Instagram requesting for their songs to be added to my playlist that I mentioned above. Artists have given me early access to listen to their songs before they were released. I regularly communicate with artists whose songs are featured on my playlist about future releases.
I create Pinterest boards pertaining to different areas such as fashion, home, food, and celebrities, and I have gained 10,000 monthly views. I also post my own Pins and each one receives about 3,000 monthly views.
Case Study 1 - Lululemon

Email marketing campaign I created on Canva for Lululemon showcasing gear picked out specifically for a customer who is a Sweat Collective member
The gear would be chosen based on the purchase history and wish lists of the customer
The underlined text next to the gear is linked directly to each specific section that is shown so the customer can easily buy them
Subject line: "Celebrate with 30% off!"
Email marketing campaign I created on Canva for Lululemon to gain customer delight and maintain a long-term customer relationship.
This email showcases the customer's journey with Lululemon and gives them an exclusive discount to celebrate their one year as a Sweat Collective Member.
The email includes buttons the customer can click to go directly to each product and buy them again.
Case Study 2 - Sweetgreen
Instagram Story post I made on Canva for a marketing campaign called "#sgenergy" that is meant to engage with sweetgreen consumers and get them to share the bowls that give them energy.
This marketing campaign is a good way to gain engagement and receive feedback on which bowls are the most popular. It will also increase brand awareness since customers will be sharing photos using the hashtag.
